The Ozarks Counseling Center Agency Director is Stephen Johnson, MS, LPC., with over 25 years experience as a counselor. He came to OCC in 1996, and became director in 2002.

The three major funding sources for Ozarks Counseling Center are United Way allocation, client fees, and fundraising by the Board, which includes special events and donations. We also have an endowment fund through the Community Foundation of the Ozarks. Additional funding comes from grants and contracts. We receive no government support.
Appointments at our Springfield location are available from 9:00am-8:00pm (last appointment starts at 7:00pm) Monday through Thursday and from 9:00-4:00 on Friday. The office is also open from 9:00-1:00 on Saturdays. There is no charge for the initial visit, which is called an Intake. To schedule an Intake, call 869-9011.
